About
Most of my work has been in operational software: products used in factories, warehouses, and field teams where adoption isn’t optional and a bad learning curve directly affects how people do their jobs.
For the past 5+ years, I’ve worked closely with founders as a founding or sole designer across manufacturing, AI, and B2B SaaS. Today, I lead design at Fabriq, a manufacturing platform used in 750+ factories worldwide.
In those environments, software fails quickly when teams can’t learn it fast, trust it, or fit it naturally into their daily operations. That pushed me to focus heavily on structure early: understanding where workflows break down, what creates friction, and which features make a product harder to use as it grows. The goal isn’t more functionality. It’s helping teams operate faster with fewer unnecessary decisions.
Before design, I studied civil engineering in Morocco before continuing at ENSAM in France. Civil engineers don’t design bridges that are beautiful and then hope they hold. Constraints aren’t obstacles to the design, they are the design. I bring that instinct to products.
Across my previous roles:
- At Juno, I helped grow the product from $300K to $1M ARR and led the design of a 0 → 1 AI product.
- At iQspot, I redesigned a real-time energy platform and rebuilt the design system from scratch.
- At Dots, I joined as founding designer and helped shape the product from its earliest stage.
- At Anomalie, I designed and built Odin alone. Taught myself to ship it because the problem kept bothering me until I did.
The product conversations I value most rarely start with UI. They usually start with unclear workflows, operational friction, or products that got harder to use as they grew. That’s where the interesting work is.
